The Card Collective is a season-long mahjong experience where you track completed hands, participate in challenges, and earn rewards and recognition along the way.

Not at all. As long as you’re comfortable playing independently, the Collective is designed to help you improve as you go.
Membership & Pricing

Yes. You can join at any point, but joining early gives you more time to participate, track your progress, and earn rewards and prizes.

This is a one-time purchase for the 2026 Card Collective season.

Because this program includes shipped materials and season-based participation, memberships are non-refundable once your welcome kit has shipped.

Yes. VIP upgrades may be available after purchase, depending on availability.
Shipping & Welcome Kit

Welcome kits ship shortly after purchase so you can get started as soon as possible. If you order by April 27th, 2026, you should have your kit in time for the season start date of May 1st.

If your kit doesn’t arrive as expected, reach out and we’ll help resolve it.

Yes. You can begin playing right away and update your tracker once your kit arrives.
Gameplay & Tracking

Yes. Qualifying games played at Mahj Styled events, any other event, online, or at your own table can count toward your progress.

No. The Card Collective operates on an honor system, though certain challenges or submissions may require photos or additional details.

Each line can only be counted once toward your overall card completion.

No problem. Just update it as needed. The goal is progress, not perfection.
Challenges & Participation

No. Challenges are optional, but they offer additional opportunities to earn rewards, entries, and recognition.

Submission details may vary by challenge and will be shared throughout the season by email, SMS, or anywhere else Mahj Styled posts Card Collective updates.

Depending on the challenge, winners may be selected by random draw, participation criteria, or another format announced at the time.
rewards & Prizes

Prizes may include mahjong accessories, event tickets, partner products, exclusive Mahj Styled items, or other seasonal surprises.

No. There will be multiple ways to earn rewards and entries throughout the season.

Some rewards may be given throughout the season, with additional drawings, recognition, and prize opportunities at the end of the season.

VIP members receive bonus entries toward prize drawings, exclusive perks, and elevated recognition throughout the season.

If you plan to play consistently and want more chances to win, more recognition, and a few extra perks along the way, VIP is a great fit.
virtual v.s. in person

In-person members participate locally in the Triangle through Mahj Styled and other area events and their own games. Virtual members participate independently from anywhere while still taking part in tracking, challenges, and prize eligibility.

Your membership type is based on your location and how you primarily plan to participate, but all members can track independent play.

Yes! Virtual members are eligible for challenges, rewards, and season-long participation.
